Monthly Shanty Sings
We gather the first Sunday of every month (unless there's a special holiday) from 7 pm to 9 pm.
During the winter, we gather indoors at a local establishment. When the weather is pleasant, we prefer to be outside.
Everyone is welcome! Sing if you want or just come and listen. We love the company!
Our current members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and ages. Some play instruments but many don't. A few are professional musicians but most aren't. We just love to have fun singing together. And that's the whole point of the Budd Bay Shanty Singers. We will sing any song related to the ocean, rivers, sailing - basically anything water related that has a chorus. While each person has their regular "menu" of tunes, we are always looking for new aquatic songs to sing. We love have new voices join us. Everyone is welcome!
